In Class Challenge

The first class in the robotics course, we began to understand the different blocks that help our EV3 robot move. The most popular blocks used that day were the "Moving steering" and the "Moving tank" blocks to help the robot go forward, backward, and turns.

We had tasks to performed by each team. This Challenge set is designed to be an intro to robotics, so they are not difficult. They involved turns and moves, understanding the “Green” action blocks.

Task 1: my partner and I started with this challenge "Tag You're Out". We had to get as close to the Duplo mini figure as possible without knocking him over. We were successfully able to get within two centimeters.
Task 2: In this challenge, we had the robot do figure eight on a table or any surface around two robot tires. We would earn 50 points if we were the fastest robot! 25 points awarded if we were second fastest and 15 points if we were the third fastest. The hardest part of this challenge was balancing the values between drawing figure eight going forward and backward. eventually, my partner and I've successfully done with this task.
